I don't just randomly stop using things when they have a problem, I see what the company does and how they react. I'm not saying this isn't bad, but it's quite obviously a bug and not on purpose the worst the data breach gets is if you were unlucky enough to enable this feature AND experience this bug, which most users didn't. A bug which they obviously haven't tested properly accidentally matched your account with someone else's. The original 'feature' was the ability to sync email accounts using one central account, imo this is a good feature that I'd want in an email client. As for the initial 'data breach's, if you don't think any other company reads your emails to train AI then that's on you.! I'm not paid in any way to represent this company.
